I wasn’t sure if I’ll release this now or later, sort of test scene with latest Lara model,

which I was working on for few weeks.

I’m happy because it was quite a challenge put everything together like custom UVs, morphs, textures

and other stuff.

And what makes me even more happier is, that finally I switched from Genesis 2 base female to Genesis 3 (they are DAZ3D Studio figures),

which has pretty neat features, mainly, better rig model and UDIM texturing.

Simply, it is a method where you can load different textures in single node and they are properly applied

to different parts of a single object

(of course you have to keep in mind few things to get it working correctly).

[interesting fact: It was used for first time in 2002 in Lord of The Rings – Two Towers movie, developed by Weta Digital]

So I had an idea to use Lara’s face from latest TR game in my works and projects,

while I keep original Lara based on my ideal vision of her.

Related to technical and modeling stuff, here is another behind the scene:

transfering morph

This was, without doubt, the most painful process.

Each of the small point was, in the end, moved manually for fine tuning…

(thank god for symmetry tools D: )

See you later folks !
